Problem:
The message “Invalid Logon & Password” displays repeatedly in the upper right corner of the screen, but the Scrap Dragon logon screen never appears.
Cause:
This condition is caused by another Visual Foxpro program that has installed a configuration file that has the screen turned off. The Wayne Reaves Car Program is known to do this, however there may be others.
Resolution:
1. Search the local hard drive for a config.fpw file. The folder that the file is located in should give you a clue as to which program it belongs to.
2. If possible, remove the conflicting program.
3. If it is not possible to remove the conflicting program, you can edit the config.fpw file and change screen=off to screen=on, which may cause undesirable results in the conflicting program.
4. Another option might be to create a config.fpw file in the dragon folder and include the line screen=on to force Scrap Dragon to turn the screen on. This has not been tested.
