Symptom
When in Scrap Buying, clicking the View Paid button causes an hour glass to appear and the computer seems to be locked up. The same thing occurs in User Menu, Edit Paid Ticket.
Cause
The View Paid List configuration is set to display paid tickets from All Dates. This will include every paid ticket since you got Scrap Dragon and can be tens or hundreds of thousands of tickets. The time required to select these tickets for the list to display can make the computer appear to be locked up.
Resolution
On the computer with the issue, go into Scrap Dragon, Back Office; Maintenance; Setup: Local Computer Options. On the Modules tab, in the Scrap Buying section, click on the button LISTS. This is the scrap buying list configuration screen. In the column for View Paid, change the tickets to include from All Dates Paid to This Date Paid. This will display only the paid tickets from the current date. You will still be able to retrieve paid tickets from prior dates by entering a specific ticket number.
