Register with ISO
- To get an ID & password, register with ISO at http://www.iso.com/Products/ISO-ClaimSearch/ISO-ClaimSearch-NMVTIS-Special-Notice-for-Recyclers-Shredders-Dismantlers-and-Junk-Yards.html.
Set Up the Export in Scrap Dragon
- Import the NMVTIS template. Select the Import button on the Purchase Exports screen to begin the template import process. Select the folder containing the import template which should be the TEMPLATES folder within your Scrap Dragon installation. Select the template file NSVRP_NMVTIS_TEMPLATE.DBF. OK to import.
- Enter your ISO Membership Code. Select the Fields button on the Purchases Export screen to access the export fields list. On the Select Purchases Export Fields screen, select Next. On the Setup Purchases Export screen, ensure the ISO Membership Code field is highlighted (may be called Client Inventory ID), select the Edit button and enter the membership code provided by ISO (should be in the format Z99999999). Select Save, then Finish to complete the update.
Export Data
- In Scrap Dragon, launch the Generate Purchases Export screen by selecting Purchase Data Export from the User Menu.
- Select the desired output folder. The browse button will allow you to navigate to the desired folder or create a new folder. This will be saved each time you run and will become the default the next time you enter the screen. It will basically only need to be entered once but may be changed if needed.
- According to the ISO guidelines, the file name should always be CSNSVRP.CSV.
- Enter the date range from which you’d like the process to select eligible sales.
- Select the Create Output button to generate the file in the specified output folder.
