When troubleshooting a Scanshell Drivers License scanner, it is possible to create a log file of the processes. Create a folder named cssnlogdir in the root of the C drive. A txt log file will be created for each day, as well as all scanned images. It is best to not have a permanent cssnlogdir folder due to the added processing time to create the logs and the amount of space required. However, this can be a useful technique for diagnosing problems and for providing information to CSSN tech support.
